Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer told the media running back Latavius Murray (ankle) could return "around" the start of training camp. (Chris Tomasson on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Murray is recovering from offseason ankle surgery and has been sidelined for all of the team's offseason workouts. However, he is said to be on track in his recovery, per reports, and could be ready to make his full return to football activities at the start of training camp in late July. Murray will compete with Jerick McKinnon and Dalvin Cook for the Vikings' starting running back job. However, Cook is the presumed favorite to emerge as the team's early down back while Murray will likely assume the role of the team's short yardage/ goal line specialist.
