Fantasy Impact:
It appears the Falcons and Freeman are close to agreeing to terms on a new long-term contract extension. Per reports, the Falcons are "confident" that it will get done by the first week of July's training camp. Freeman, who would enter his walk year if a new deal is not agreed upon, is currently slated to earn $1.838 million in 2017 and is vastly underpaid compared to his production since becoming Atlanta's featured back in 2015. Freeman has accumulated at least 1,541 total yards and 13 touchdowns in each of the past two seasons.
