Le'Veon Bell remains unsigned

by Anthony Cervino | Mon, Jul 3rd 8:34am EDT

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell remains unsigned entering the training camp portion of the offseason. "I'm good with everything, just taking it day to day for real," Bell said via ESPN when asked about how he is "approaching the process." (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Bell is the only player to receive the franchise tag this offseason who has yet to sign the tender or a long-term deal. If a new deal is not agreed upon with the Steelers, he'll likely play the 2017 season under the fully guaranteed franchise tag number which is worth roughly $12.1 million. The Steelers and Bell have until July 17 to come to terms on a long-term agreement. Regardless, I'd fully expect the elusive rusher to be on the field for Week 1. A hold out, although a possibility, does not appear to be on the horizon.
