Josh McCown still not a lock to start in 2017

New York Jets beat reporter Rich Cimini is reporting it is "not a done deal" that Josh McCown opens the 2017 season as the team's starting quarterback. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
As training camp approaches, the Jets have a plethora of question marks, but quarterback appears to be the greatest. Despite McCown, a 13 year veteran in the NFL, signing with the team in the offseason as the expected starter, Christian Hackenberg and Bryce Petty are pushing for a chance to open the year on top of the depth chart. Although a heavy training camp and preseason battle for the job is likely, I'd still expect McCown to be under center in Week 1. With the Jets in full rebuilding mode, it shouldn't be long before Hackenberg and Petty receive their shot.
