Trevor Siemian healthy for Denver QB competition

by Justin Mackey | Jets Correspondent | Sat, Jul 15th 10:29pm EDT

NFL.com reports that Trevor Siemian is healthy and ready to compete with Paxton Lynch for the starting QB job in Denver. Siemian has been recovering from off-season shoulder surgery. Siemian stated "I'm just really excited-- I'm healthy." (NFL.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Siemian has the edge in experience over Lynch and is the returning starter in Denver. The Bronco offense will be limited again this year if Siemian is under center. His game manager style would cap the upside of receivers Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders. This will be a battle to watch when training camp opens July 27th for the Broncos. The best scenario for fantasy players is a healthy Siemian pushing Lynch to develop into the quarterback Denver traded up to draft last year.
