Patrick Mahomes inks rookie deal

Fantasy Impact:
Mahomes signed his rookie deal with the Chiefs Thursday. The 10th overall pick in April's draft is expected to open the 2017 season as Alex Smith's primary backup. He'll likely sit out the year and be groomed to start in 2018.
