Denver's Trevor Siemian shakes off the rust

DenverBroncos.com reports that Trevor Siemian opened training camp slowly before gaining his edge back. When asked about how long it took for him to feel comfortable, he stated "About two periods in, probably. It took me a while." Siemian missed his first three throws as Denver opened day one of training camp focusing on red-zone work. (DenverBroncos.com)

Siemian is the returning starter as camp opens for Denver. This was just day one of the competition between him and Paxton Lynch to see who will be under center this season for the Broncos. Coach Vance Joseph has made it known that he would prefer the starter to be decided by the August 26th preseason game against the Green Bay Packers.
