Ezekiel Elliott 'expected' to be suspended

Pro Football Talk is reporting the NFL is "expected" to suspend Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott. A decision could be announced as soon as Friday. (Pro Football Talk)

Fantasy Impact:

Breaking Thursday night, Pro Football Talk is reporting it's almost inevitable that Elliott will serve a ban in 2017. How much, remains a mystery. Per a league source, a suspension is "definite." Whether it's announced on Friday, or the decision is held back again, it doesn't look good for Elliott, the Cowboys or his fantasy owners. Elliott's fantasy value will almost certainly be affected depending on the ultimate length of the presumed ban. Once regarded as one of the top three picks of fantasy drafts across all formats, Elliott could fall to the mid-to-late first round for a two game suspension, and could even drop into the early second, a la Le'Veon Bell in years past, if it is longer.
