Jeremy Hill almost a lock to start in 2017?

Cincinnati Bengals beat writer Jim Owczarski believes Jeremy Hill will enter the 2017 season as the team's starting running back. "Unless Jeremy Hill is injured or is absolutely terrible, he’ll start all season," Owczarski said via the Cincinnati Enquirer. (Jim Owczarski on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

After the Bengals selected Joe Mixon in the second round of April's draft, rumors have suggested that he would ultimately out seat Hill as the team's RB1 as soon as the 2017 regular season opener. Since averaging 5.1 YPC in his 2014 rookie campaign, Hill has regressed, only averaging 3.6 YPC in 2015 and 3.8 YPC in 2016. Despite his heavy touchdown production, he's scored 29 in his three-year career, his starting job is indeed in question. However, Mixon is a rookie and hasn't exactly had the best camp in the early stages, so Owczarski believes Hill is the clear-cut option to open the upcoming season as the starter. However, if he does, I believe Mixon will push him for the role, especially if Hill struggles early. Currently, Mixon is holding a consensus RB16 ADP that could fall as the offseason winds down, while Hill and his RB46 ADP could begin to rise.
