LeGarrette Blount has a quiet debut for the Eagles Thursday

LeGarrette Blount played only one series in Thursday's preseason opener for the Eagles, rushing four times for nine yards (2.3 YPC).
Fantasy Impact:
Blount's debut was pretty underwhelming, as he did not have much space to run whenever he touched the ball. The Philadelphia offensive line did not open up many holes for him, and he was hit at or before the line of scrimmage on most of his touches. He only played the one series to stay fresh and let some younger plays get game reps, and he should play more in the second and third preseason games.
