Donnel Pumphrey catches five passes in preseason opener

Fantasy Impact:

Pumphrey showed flashes of being a "Darren Sproles lite" on Thursday night, which is what many have considered him since the Eagles drafted him. While his fantasy value may be limited in 2017 due to a logjam at the running back position in Philadelphia, including the aforementioned Sproles, he may be worth a late round flier in redraft PPR or dynasty leagues, as he should be in line to catch a lot of passes out of the backfield and in the slot the next few years.
