Robert Kelley starts preseason opener

Robert Kelley had three carries for two yards and caught his only target for five yards in the Redskins game against the Ravens on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact:

Kelley is expected to open the season as the starter and didn't do anything to hurt that expectation on Thursday. He is familiar with the offense and his performance so far in camp has been solid so barring an injury he will receive the bulk of early down work. He is currently a value in drafts as his current ADP has him going after Samaje Perine by a few rounds, but that should change as we get closer to the regular season. His value is strictly in standard leagues with Thompson locked into the pass catching role.
