Carlos Hyde quiet in start at Kansas City

Carlos Hyde was the starter at Kansas City but had a quiet day, garnering two carries for no yards and one catch for three yards.

Fantasy Impact:

The play wasn't so much the story for Hyde as much as he started and played exclusively with the starters. He was the featured back out there with the limited look the 49ers starters got. The 49ers' offensive line struggled with pass protection throughout the game but was able to constantly open up holes for whoever was in the backfield. Hyde figures to be the back to own for the 49ers in both PPR and standard formats, and is a great value at his current ADP. In this new offense run by coach Kyle Shanahan, he is a solid RB2 with RB1 upside if he stays healthy.
