Newton does not throw in Saturday's practice

After practice, Coach Ron Rivera said that Saturday was a scheduled day off for Cam Newton and Newton would throw Sunday. That being said, Newton was in full pads like the rest of the team and worked on running plays with the running backs. (The Charlotte Observer)
Fantasy Impact:
The fact that Newton is scheduled to throw on Sunday is welcome news as he has been sidelined most of the preseason while recovering for shoulder surgery.
