Paul Richardson will be ready by Week 1

When Pete Carroll was asked by beat writer Gregg Bell on whether or not Paul Richardson would be ready for Week 1, Carroll said that they were stunned to see him on the practice field today and that he'll definitely be ready for Week 1. (Gregg Bell on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This is massive for Richardson, who hasn't been able to stay healthy over the last few years. Even when he was healthy, the Seahawks continued to trot out Jermaine Kearse. That all changed this training camp, as Richardson was running with Doug Baldwin as the No. 1 and No. 2 options. In the first preseason game, Richardson only played three snaps before he injured his shoulder, but he saw two targets on those snaps that netted two catches for 30 yards. If you saw the catch he was hurt on, it was of the highlight variety, showing his willingness to go all-out, even in a meaningless game. The former second-round draft pick has a chance to deliver WR3 value if he can get on the field in two-wide receiver sets. He's free in fantasy drafts right now.
