Marqise Lee good to go for Week 1?

by Anthony Cervino | Sat, Aug 19th 5:35pm EDT

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Marqise Lee (ankle) told the media he is "confident he'll be ready to roll" for Week 1 of the regular season. (Around the NFL on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Although Lee, who is dealing with an ankle injury, may be shut down for the remainder of the preseason, he told the press he should be ready to go for the season opener against Houston. Fully expected to see an expanded role in the offense in 2017, Lee could finally be in store for his breakout year. However, since Blake Bortles is struggling, Chad Henne could very well open the year as the Jaguars' starting quarterback, which may actually hurt Lee's value in the end -- Bortles is an atrocious "real football" signal caller but is productive in fantasy. Still, at his current WR81 ADP, his upside outweighs the risk at that draft position.
