Kirk Cousins tosses TD late in first half vs. Packers

Kirk Cousins played the entire first half of the Redskins second preseason game, completing 14-of-23 passes for 144 yards and a TD before taking a rest for the second half against Green Bay.
Fantasy Impact:
A quick glance at Cousins' stats can be deceiving as the Redskins offense was awful for most of the first half. The Redskins first-team offense has struggled in both preseason games, with the lone successful drive coming against the Packers backup unit right before halftime. Cousins has yet to find a groove with the receiving group as his biggest plays came on long strikes to RB Chris Thompson and TE Vernon Davis. However, there is no need to hit the panic button yet as the regular season is still three weeks away.
