Christian McCaffrey making a strong case

Carolina Panthers rookie RB Christian McCaffrey rushed three times for 33 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for 39 more yards versus the Tennessee Titans on Saturday, Aug. 19.
Fantasy Impact:
McCaffrey took a counter run and beat everyone to the edge on a 17-yard score before adding a 38-yard catch-and-run on a screen pass the following possession. The rookie's explosion is as advertised, and about the only thing that may keep him from being a league-winning player this year is if Jonathan Stewart can play 16 games again. McCaffrey should be a high-end RB2 even in a committee with elite RB1 upside if/when Stewart needs to miss games.
