Bryce Petty good to go after all?

by Anthony Cervino | Tue, Aug 29th 7:00am EDT

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting New York Jets quarterback Bryce Petty (knee) is suffering from a Grade 1 MCL sprain and should be ready for the start of the regular season. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Schefter is adding that Petty could be ready to play in Thursday's preseason finale. However, I'm not sure I'm risking it if I'm the Jets. Petty is proving to be New York's most reliable signal caller entering 2017 and barring a setback, he is primed to step into the starting job sooner rather than later. Josh McCown will start for the Jets in Week 1.
