Thomas Rawls unlikely to play Week 1

by Anthony Cervino | Sun, Sep 10th 5:03am EDT

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting Seattle Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls (ankle) is not expected to play Week 1. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Rawls is not yet at 100 percent health. He's been recovering from an ankle injury suffered last month and could be held out of the season opener in Green Bay in an attempt to get the presumed starter back to full health. Eddie Lacy, Chris Carson and C.J. Prosise will handle Seattle's RB duties, likely in a RBBC, if Rawls is ultimately ruled inactive. At least until there is greater clarity, Seattle's backfield is one to avoid in the early portion of the 2017 season.
