Sebastian Janikowski placed on IR

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting the Oakland Raiders have placed kicker Sebastian Janikowski (back) on the injured reserve list. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Although Janikowski was placed on IR Saturday, he won't need surgery to repair the herniated disc in his back. The Raiders expect Janikowski to be cleared and eligible to return to the team in eight weeks. In a corresponding move, Oakland activated Giorgio Tavecchio from the practice squad. Tavecchio will kick for the Raiders in Week 1.
