Jaquiski Tartt leads 49ers defense in Week 1 loss

Jaquiski Tartt led the 49ers in tackles with seven solo tackles, one pass break up, and a spectacular one-handed interception at the goal line against the Panthers.
Fantasy Impact:
Tartt got the start due to injury, but again showed he is worthy of holding down the free safety position. He had some questionable plays, however, with a missed tackle that led to a touchdown and a senseless unnecessary roughness penalty. Tartt is worth keeping an eye on because Ward has struggled to get healthy and has missed a lot of time this off-season. He may be eased back into game action or passed over all together for Tartt if he continues to play well, but unless that happens he isn't worth rostering.
