Adrian Peterson flops in Saints debut

Adrian Peterson had just six carries for 18 yards on Monday against the Vikings.

Fantasy Impact:

The "revenge game" narrative never materialized, as Peterson played just nine snaps and could not do much with them. Both Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara got far more usage in the game, so it looks like Peterson may be the odd man out, at least for now. It was one game, and the Vikings dominated the Saints, so don't draw any firm conclusions yet. But this certainly didn't look good for Peterson's long-term value.
