David Johnson to undergo surgery

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson (wrist) is undergoing wrist surgery Tuesday and will miss the next 2-to-3 months of football activities as a result. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
As expected, Johnson is missing extended time, 2-3 months to be exact, which translates to an early-November-December return. This is a terrible blow to Johnson's fantasy owners as their top overall pick will be sidelined for a good chunk of the year. However, his presumed return does fall around Week 12 in a best-case scenario, which is right in time to make a push for the fantasy playoffs. Kerwynn Williams is instantly must-add at running back in all fantasy formats. Andre Ellington is worth a look too in deeper formats in case the Cardinals employ an RBBC in Johnson's absence.
