Deshaun Watson named Week 2 starter

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting the Houston Texans have named Deshaun Watson their Week 2 starting quarterback. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

As expected, Watson will start in Thursday night's Week 2 matchup against the Bengals. The rookie gave the Texans a second half spark last Sunday in the opener -- he passed for 102 yards, a touchdown and an interception -- but to no avail. They were blown out by Jacksonville. Moving forward from a fantasy perceptive, Watson's lone TD toss went to DeAndre Hopkins. I would expect the rookie signal caller to rely heavily on his top wideout, which bodes well for Hopkins' fantasy value looking ahead. For Watson, he is currently on the back-end QB2 radar and should only be started in DFS and Two-QB fantasy formats.
