Julius Thomas had best red zone results under Gase

23 of Julius Thomas’ 33 career touchdowns have been red zone receptions. Thomas was targeted in the red zone 33 times during his first two years in Denver under the direction of then offensive coordinator, Adam Gase. During his last two years in Jacksonville his total red zone targets dropped to 17. (Miami Herald)
Fantasy Impact:
Jay Cutler played for Gase in Chicago. He knows Gase's offense and as a result, the offense should make better use of his playbook than last season. Thomas and Cutler have improved their chemistry the last couple of weeks. Although Jarvis Landry was the red zone go-to last season, Thomas' 69% red zone success rate shouldn't be ignored.
