Donnel Pumphrey placed on injured reserve

The Eagles placed rookie running back Donnel Pumphrey on injured reserve Friday with a torn hamstring, the team announced.
Fantasy Impact:
Pumphrey was inactive for the first week of the season and has now apparently injured his hamstring severely enough to warrant a trip to injured reserve. The Eagles selected Pumphrey in the fourth round after he set the FBS record for career rushing yards with 6,405, and he has been pegged by many as a replacement for Darren Sproles if the latter retires after this season, as expected. He should be stashed on injured reserve spots in deeper dynasty leagues, but other than that he has no fantasy value in the short term.
