Dalvin Cook held in check in Week 2

by Scott Lotzer | Ravens Correspondent | Mon, Sep 18th 1:41am EDT

Dalvin Cook rushed 12 times for 64 yards, and had two catches on three targets for no yards in Week 2 against a swarming Pittsburgh defense.

Fantasy Impact:

Cook had one explosive 25-yard run that appeared to result in a TD, but instead was called down inches short of the end zone. C.J. Ham then took the next hand-off to vulture the score. With a backup quarterback playing the entire game, this result is to be expected. Things should improve when Sam Bradford returns to the lineup, but for now, Cook should be viewed as a low-end RB2 as a volume play dependent on matchup.
