Alshon Jeffery shows up big in loss

by Brian Riedmiller | Mon, Sep 18th 11:06am EDT

Eagles receiver Alshon Jeffery came up big in his second game as an Eagle, catching seven catches for 92 yards, including a 16-yard touchdown in the Eagles 27-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fantasy Impact:

Without a corner to lock him down, Jeffery had the game that the Eagles needed him to have, although the Eagles did still fall short. His 13 targets in the contest (including, technically, the Hail Mary at the end of the game) are a very positive sign of what's to come this season, as the Eagles have shown that they really want to sling the ball a lot this year with second-year caller Carson Wentz.
