Tyrod Taylor remains Bills' starter, coach says

Head coach Sean McDermott said Monday that Tyrod Taylor remains the Bills' starting quarterback, dismissing any suggestion that they could turn to rookie Nathan Peterman. (Jay Skurski)

Fantasy Impact:

The issue came up following Taylor's 125-yard passing performance Sunday at Carolina in which the offense scored three points and never entered the red zone. The passing game is extremely limited by having two starting wide receivers, Jordan Matthews and rookie Zay Jones, who pose no downfield threat. That, and Taylor's own limitations as a passer, make him a low-end fantasy backup who does not need to be owned. He's a streaming option only against weak defenses; their next opponent, the Denver Broncos, is not that.
