NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen (foot) was placed on the injured reserve list with a broken foot on Tuesday. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Olsen, who underwent foot surgery Tuesday, was placed on the injured reserve list. Since his injury is not expected to be season-ending, Olsen would be eligible to be activated off IR in eight weeks in a best-case scenario, which is right around Week 10. In Olsen's absence, Ed Dickson is Carolina's TE1.
