Texans secondary get torched by Tom Brady

Houston’s defensive line was able to generate plenty of pressure recording five sacks, one of which led to a defensive touchdown for Jadeveon Clowney. However, for as well as the Houston D-line played, their defense allowed 396 total yards and was shredded by Tom Brady to the tune of 378 passing yards and five TD passes.

Fantasy Impact:

Facing the Patriots is always going to present a tough matchup for any DST. Having faced off with the Patriots five times over the past three years, the Texans' are as familiar with New England as anyone, but this was one of their worst showings against the Pats. For as good as the front seven played, the Texans secondary was unable to cover anyone as they had numerous coverage breakdowns leading to New England touchdowns. The Texans’ DST still remains a top 12 fantasy defense and gets a home date with the Titans in Week 4.
