Dalvin Cook comes through big in Week 3
by Scott Lotzer | Ravens Correspondent | Mon, Sep 25th 1:10am EDT
Dalvin Cook rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown, and also had five catches for 72 yards against the Buccaneers in the Vikings' Week 3 win.
Fantasy Impact:
Cook was a workhorse back in this game, with 32 touches, as the Vikings used the run effectively to establish the pass. Never underestimate a starting running back on a team that is favored and playing at home. That, and the Buccaneers playing with a gimpy Gerald McCoy. There will be ups and downs this year for Cook, but because of the volume of touches the Vikings have been comfortable giving him, Cook makes for a rock-solid RB2 with RB1-upside all season long. Next week the Vikings host Detroit.
