Shane Vereen had a minor role in the Giants' offense in their Week 4 matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Vereen carried the ball five times for 14 yards and caught one pass for 11 yards.
Fantasy Impact:
Vereen was clearly behind in the pecking order to starter Paul Perkins, who left with an injury, and rookie rusher Wayne Gallman. He was also a secondary option in a Giants' passing game that saw Eli Manning mostly target his trio of talented Wide Receivers.
