Odell Beckham Jr. to undergo surgery

New York Giants beat writer Jordan Raanan is reporting wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle) will undergo a surgery to repair a serious ankle/ leg injury suffered in Week 5. (Jordan Raanan on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Beckham, who severely injured his left ankle/ leg in Sunday's loss to the Chargers, is immediately headed for surgery, per Raanan. Although the true nature of the injury remains uncertain, it does appear significant and potentially season-ending. Along with Beckham, New York lost Brandon Marshall to a sprained ankle as well as Sterling Shepard and Dwayne Harris to their own respective injuries in Week 5. The 0-5 Giants could be in a position to target Eli Manning's successor in the 2018 draft if they continue on this terrible trend.
