Seahawks DST shines in win

by Caleb Baggette | Seahawks Correspondent | Sun, Oct 8th 7:37pm EDT

The Seattle Seahawks DST shined in their Week 5 win over the Rams, forcing five turnovers. The team allowed 10 points on 375 yards with sacks coming from Michael Bennett and Frank Clark. Earl Thomas was the star of the show, forcing a goal line fumble preventing a Todd Gurley touchdown and later caught a key interception. Sheldon Richardson paired his first career interception with a fumble recovery of his own. Neiko Thorpe also recovered a kickoff that was fumbled by Tavon Austin.

Fantasy Impact:

A dominant performance from a Cliff Avril-less defense. The Seahawks will head to New York following their Week 6 bye to play the Giants, who just lost Odell Beckham Jr.
