Ezekiel Elliott remains eligible to play for the time being, according to Pro Football Talk. The U.S. District Court will prevent the NFL from suspending Elliott until the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit rules on Elliott’s petition for rehearing. (Pro Football Talk)
Fantasy Impact:
Until a petition for rehearing is filed and resolved, Elliott will remain eligible to play. With the team on bye, this doesn't change anything immediately, but it seems like a suspension could be further delayed by continued appeal. Elliott and the Cowboys take on the 49ers Week 7.
