Pierre Garcon snagged five of his 12 targets for 55 yards in the 49ers' 26-24 loss to Washington on Sunday. He did not score.
Fantasy Impact:
Garcon led the team in targets, with all his receptions coming from C.J. Beathard after he replaced an ineffective Brian Hoyer at quarterback midway through the second quarter. Beathard's vitalization of the anemic 49er offense bodes well for Garcon and the rest of the club's receiving corps. If the changing of the quaterback guard from Hoyer to Beathard is indeed immutable, look for Garcon to have success in Week 7 against the 23rd-ranked Dallas defense.
