Ezekiel Elliott, NFLPA files temporary restraining order

by Marco Ignacio | Patriots Correspondent | Mon, Oct 16th 11:53pm EDT

The NFL Players Association has filed a request for a temporary restraining order that again would put the six-game suspension of Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott on hold, a source told ESPN's Josina Anderson. The request will be argued Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, according to the source.

Fantasy Impact:

The drama continues. If the temporary restraining order is granted, Elliott will be eligible to play in Week 7 when they take on the San Francisco 49ers. This is separate to the full panel en-banc hearing Elliott's legal team is seeking. The 2-3 Cowboys are fighting for Elliott, and will exhaust all options before they accept any suspension. Elliott owners would still be wise to have a Plan B going into Week 7.
