Marcus Mariota throws for 308 yards and a TD in Monday Night Football debut

Marcus Mariota finished 23-of-32 for 306 yards with one touchdown and one interception in a 36-22 win over the Colts on Monday night.

Fantasy Impact:

Still hampered by a hamstring injury, Marcus Mariota was forced to throw from the pocket the entire game. He struggled to find rhythm in the first half, and his interception early in the third quarter was returned for a touchdown by the Colts. Mariota and the offense finally found their rhythm outscoring the Colts 21-3 in the fourth quarter. On a play action pass, Mariota threw a deep strike to rookie WR Taywan Taylor for a 53-yard touchdown. It was Mariota’s fourth time in his career throwing over 300 passing yards in a game. Next week he will face the Browns on the road. Look for Mariota to be a strong start in that match up.
