Deonte Thompson blows up against Bucs

Just days after being picked up following his release from the Chicago Bears, newly signed Buffalo Bills WR Deonte Thompson had the game of his life for his new team in their week 7 home victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Thompson caught all four of his targeted throws for a team high 107 yards on the afternoon.
Fantasy Impact:
Thompson's performance was eye catching, particularly considering how difficult a time Bills WRs have had in making a fantasy impact thus far this season. Thompson has no track record of any significance in stops with multiple teams over his 5 1/2 NFL seasons (including a previous stop with the Bills), so it's hard to put much faith in this being anything other than a flash in the pan. That said, he's worth keeping on your radar as a potential add down the line, on the off chance this level of production continues in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
