Demaryius Thomas catches only two balls

by Aaron Blauer | Mon, Oct 23rd 10:12am EDT

Demaryius Thomas received six targets in the Broncos' Week 7 loss to the Chargers, but came down with only two of them for a mere nine yards.

Fantasy Impact:

Emmanuel Sanders did not play in this game, so most expected Thomas to see a high target volume, but he had trouble shaking Casey Hayward and the Broncos' crippled offensive line didn't give QB Trevor Siemian any time to do much of anything through the air. The Broncos' offense has looked terrible overall lately and it is turning Thomas into a riskier proposition than fantasy owners are used to. He's still the Broncos' top receiving option and worthy of starting, but is probably best considered a WR3 at this point.
