Elijah McGuire takes a back seat in Jets’ loss

As expected, Elijah McGuire was a non-factor during Sunday’s road loss to the Miami Dolphins, as both Matt Forte and Bilal Powell returned from injuries. McGuire only received three carries and rushed for seven yards in the loss, with no receptions or touchdowns.
Fantasy Impact:
This outcome was expected for McGuire. He’s a nice prospect, but his fantasy success hinges on playing time. And given the fact that McGuire is playing behind Forte and Powell, he’ll only get that opportunity when injury strikes. At this point, feel free to drop McGuire in 10 or 12-team leagues. He is worth stashing in dynasty formats though.
