Andrew Luck not playing in 2017 remains a likely option

Indianapolis Colts beat writer Tony Donohue is reporting he was told by a "trusted source" that quarterback Andrew Luck (shoulder) will not play in 2017. (Tony Donohue on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

It comes to no surprise that Luck is ruled out for Week 8. He has yet to garner anything close to an active designation this season. However, per ESPN Radio's Tony Donohue, the ailing signal caller is in danger of missing the 2017 season in its entirety. While this report may shock some, it really shouldn't. Rumors throughout the first half of the year have suggested that outcome. It appears that Jacoby Brissett will be under center for the Colts for the duration of the season, barring an injury of his own of course, leaving T.Y. Hilton, Donte Moncrief and the rest of the Indy pass-catchers' fantasy values at a minimum.
