Alex Smith struggles against Denver Broncos

Alex Smith completed just 14-of-31 passes for 201 yards and a touchdown against the Denver Broncos. Smith added 33 yards on four rushing attempts. Smith was also sacked once while losing a fumble.
Fantasy Impact:
The Monday night game against the Broncos marked Smith's worst fantasy performance of the season. The league's leader in completion percentage was surprisingly inaccurate in Week 8, completing just 45.2 percent of his passes. Chalk this up as a rough game against a very strong defensive unit. Going forward Smith still deserves to be treated as a QB1. The Chiefs will head to Dallas in Week 9 and take on a very exploitable secondary.
