by Anthony Cervino | Browns Correspondent | Thu, Nov 2nd 5:49pm EDT

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo is reporting Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson (knee) has suffered a torn ACL in practice Thursday. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

It's official. Watson, the outstanding rookie who took the NFL and fantasy football world by storm in 2017, tore his ACL, ending his season. Not only is this a tremendous blow to the Texans' season, but it is also a blow to Watson's fantasy owners as well as the owners of Houston pass-catchers, primarily DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller. Tom Savage, who finished Thursday's practice with the top unit, will start in Watson's absence moving forward. As a result, look for Texans' TEs that include Ryan Griffin and C.J. Fiedorowicz, who is on track to return in Week 10, to begin seeing an uptick in targets in the wake of Savage's return under center.
