Zay Jones scores first TD, injures knee in loss

Buffalo Bills rookie WR Zay Jones had the best fantasy performance of his young career on Thursday night in his team's road loss to the New York Jets. Jones finished with six receptions on seven targets, for 53 yards and his first career touchdown.

Fantasy Impact:

Most impressive is that Jones' production game in limited game action - He left in the first half with a knee injury, returning briefly to start the second half before exiting for good. These numbers are more along the lines of what fantasy owners were hoping for from Jones entering the season, but have to be taken as an exception rather than a sign of things to come. His season long production to date remains underwhelming, and his target shares are in danger of being reduced due to the looming presence of Kelvin Benjamin, the Bills' recent acquisition and presumed #1 WR going forward, who did not play in this game. Jones is worth monitoring, but not rostering in 10 or 12 team leagues.
