Tyrod Taylor pads numbers in garbage time

by Keith Kraska | Jets Correspondent | Fri, Nov 3rd 6:08am EDT

Tyrod Taylor completed 29 of 40 passes for 285 yards and two touchdowns Thursday night against the Jets. He also ran six times for 35 yards, scored on a half-yard sneak, and lost a fumble.

Fantasy Impact:

In Taylor's best fantasy game of the year, two of his three total touchdowns were in the final five minutes, after the game was out of hand, and those two drives accounted for 122 of his passing yards. The rest of the time, Taylor was under siege in the pocket, as the Jets sacked him seven times. There's a good chance Taylor will be throwing a lot again next week against New Orleans, and help is on the way: Kelvin Benjamin will make his Bills debut, and Charles Clay may return from his knee injury. Taylor has top-five fantasy upside in that game, which should be fun to watch. Fire him up in DFS tournaments.
