Ezekiel Elliott granted administrative stay; will play this Sunday

by Dan Harris | Patriots Correspondent | Fri, Nov 3rd 10:07am EDT

The Second Circuit Court of Appeals has granted Ezekiel Elliott's motion for a brief administrative stay during the pendency of his appeal from the district court's denial of his motion for a preliminary injunction. He will play this weekend against Kansas City. (Daniel Wallach on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This is just another twist in the most unpredictable legal saga of the year. It's unclear whether Elliott will play beyond this week, as the Second Circuit will rule on his motion on an expedited basis, after which fantasy owners should have some final resolution for this season. For now, Elliott owners can rejoice, and plug him into their lineups this weekend. Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden owners need to look for other options.
