LeGarrette Blount takes a back seat Sunday

by Mike Maher | Sun, Nov 5th 7:59pm EST

LeGarrette Blount rushed nine times for 37 yards and did not catch any passes in Philadelphia's blowout victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday, as he took a back seat to newcomer Jay Ajayi and undrafted running back Corey Clement, who combined to score four touchdowns.

Fantasy Impact:

The team announced that Blount would remain the starter ever after acquiring Jay Ajayi, but it was pretty obvious after one game that he is going to be part of what looks to be a pretty crowded running back rotation in Philadelphia. Ajayi averaged nearly 10 yards per carry on eight carries in his debut, while Clement scored three touchdowns on 13 touches, both of which are not good signs for Blount's value for the rest of the season.
